We imagined a Festival that would be like those flowers that are blown and disperse their white pieces in the air. From this idea #mascagnifuoriporta was born: a cycle of events scattered throughout Italy - with a detour to Jerusalem - which could be the first episode of a narrative/musical journey on the figure of Mascagni in the world.

The Mascagni Festival crosses the European borders with a prestigious collaboration in the Rising Sun: an important Mascagni musical event will be staged in the splendid setting of Tokyo's Sakura Hall, featuring a concert performance of the opera Zanetto and a subsequent gala opera concert with arias, duets and interludes from operas by Pietro Mascagni.
